Rooted & Resourced: A Supervision Retreat for Spiritual Directors & Compassionate Listeners

Those who spend their lives listening deeply also need space to be listened to.

Spiritual direction and other forms of compassionate accompaniment ask us to be deeply present to the lives of others—to their questions, transitions, grief, discernment, and encounters with the sacred. Over time, that work can leave us carrying questions of our own.

Rooted & Resourced is a spacious day of supervision, reflection, and collegial connection for spiritual directors and others whose work involves listening deeply and accompanying others. Rather than moving quickly from one case or question to another, this retreat offers time to slow down and listen more carefully to what may be emerging within your own practice.

Join facilitators Diane Bricker and Rev. Dr. Lil Smith for a day of nature-based supervision, contemplative practice, and collegial reflection designed specifically for trained spiritual directors. Bring a focus question from your own practice and discover what new wisdom may emerge through quiet reflection, conversation, and shared supervision.

Lunch is included. To preserve the intimacy and depth of the supervision experience, participation is limited to six people.
