What happens when we step beyond familiar walls and listen for the sacred in the wild?
Join us for a spacious morning of writing and reflection at the intersection of earth, spirit, story, and self. Through gentle prompts, quiet listening, and unhurried writing time, we'll pay attention to the wisdom of the living world, the wildness within us, and the experiences that deepen our sense of belonging to the Earth and to one another.
You don't need to consider yourself a writer to participate. Come with a journal, a notebook, or simply a curiosity about what might emerge when you slow down and listen.
These gatherings are also an opportunity to begin or develop a piece for Retreat House's upcoming community anthology exploring wild spirituality, but you do not need to submit anything for publication to attend.
The natural world does not ask us for credentials before welcoming us in. Neither do we.
Bring something to write with, an open spirit, and a willingness to follow the wild invitation—wherever it might lead.
Facilitated by Gretchen Martens, publisher of the House of book series and facilitator of the monthly writer’s gatherings.
