Journaling for Joy - Saturday, August 23, 10am-2:30pm

Journaling can be a wellspring of nourishment for our hearts, relationships, and spirituality—a bridge connecting our inner and outer worlds.

In this workshop retreat we will explore a variety of approaches through which we can engage our journals in new and surprising ways. We will go beyond the idea of our journal being a place to simply record the events of our day, and experience it instead as a field of possibilities.

Together we will explore practices that invite us into joy, self-acceptance, reflection, expression, compassion, transformation, healing, imagination, gratitude, creativity, and connection.

Come prepared for a day of heart-centered fun that will include writing, art, gentle guided reflections, and heartful discussion with wonderful people.

This workshop is for beginners as much as for those experienced journalers who want to explore new ways to enrich a long-standing practice. RSVP

Each participant will receive a Retreat House blank book, and art supplies will be available.

You are also welcome to bring your own journal if you have one you love, as well as any art supplies you would enjoy.

Light refreshments will be provided, in addition to lunch with community. You may bring your own lunch or you will be invited to place an order and pay in advance for lunch from Salad and Go.
