In this introduction to meditation, Nico will guide us into the universal heart of meditation. We will explore ways to ease and stabillze the body, calm the mind and awaken compassion and wisdom of the heart.
Open to all - whether brand new to meditation or experienced.
This will take place after lunch on Wednesday.
Please wear comfortable clothing in which you can breathe easily. Chairs and cushions will be available, and you are also welcome to bring your own.
Meditation can have different meanings depending on the tradition, culture, and even individual person using the word. Yet around the world and throughout history, we have had a universal calling to deeper awareness through practices that quiet the mind, open the heart, and allow us enter into a direct and intimate encounter with what it means to be alive, sensitive, and present in this very moment—at times even experiencing depths of spiritual realization that the receptive attitude of meditation seems to invite and welcome.
