Nine years ago, Retreat House began with a simple vision: to create a place where people could step away from the noise of everyday life, listen more deeply, and tend to the inner life.

This October, Retreat House is turning nine, and we'd love to celebrate with the people who have helped make this community what it is today.

Join us on Wednesday, October 28 at noon for an informal birthday lunch at the House. We'll provide a light lunch as we celebrate nine years of Retreat House and honor our founder, Lil Smith, whose vision and care created the space that so many of us have come to know and love.

There won't be a big program or agenda. This is simply a chance to gather around the table, see old friends and meet new ones, share some birthday cake, and celebrate the community that has grown here over the past nine years.

As part of our celebration, we'll also invite everyone to write a blessing for Retreat House—a hope, prayer, word of gratitude, or intention for the years ahead. Together, these blessings will become a small reflection of the community that continues to hold and shape this place.

Whether you've been part of Retreat House since the beginning or have only recently discovered us, you're part of the story we're celebrating.
