Discovering Forest Spirituality

  • Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve 5901 Los Rios Boulevard Plano, TX, 75074 United States (map)

Forest Bathing & Shamanic Circle

When you walk in the forest, can you hear her invitations? Do you know how to slow down enough to receive what the trees are offering? Have you ever asked a tree for guidance—and listened for her response? The forest is not just scenery. She is presence. Teacher. Witness. Companion. And when we enter with reverence, she welcomes us.

Join Tammy Minuti (forest bathing guide) and Gretchen Martens (shamanic practitioner) for a day of gentle immersion in forest spirituality. Together we will explore how to move beyond walking through the woods to being in conscious relationship with the living world. We will share guided forest bathing invitations, shamanic journeying practices, silence, reflection, and shared conversation. You will learn to

  • cultivate deep presence with the land

  • develop practices for listening to the wisdom of trees

  • receive insight and guidance grounded in nature’s rhythms

  • reconnect with your own inner knowing through embodied awareness

This is not about mastering techniques. It is about remembering how we belong. Whether you are new to forest spirituality or already feel called by the trees, this day offers the spaciousness to listen, to breathe, and to be restored.

Come as you are. The forest already knows your name. Rain or shine. Meet inside the main building. Bring lunch, snacks, water, and a journal.
