Common Ground: Interfaith Discussion and Lunch
$0.00

Third Thursdays of Each Month | 12:00–1:30 pm

Common Ground is a monthly gathering where people from diverse faith traditions, spiritual paths, and cultural backgrounds come together to learn from one another through conversation, storytelling, and shared wisdom.

Each month, we explore a theme through the lens of different traditions and lived experiences. Participants are invited to share teachings, practices, perspectives, and stories that have shaped their understanding of the topic. Together, we create a space of curiosity, respect, and deep listening.

This gathering reflects many of Retreat House's core values, including Brave Vulnerability, Chesed, Sharing Sacred Stories, Cultivation, and Cross-Pollination. We believe that meaningful encounter across differences can deepen our understanding of ourselves, one another, and the sacred.

All are welcome. A delicious lunch is provided, with accommodations for dietary needs.

June Gathering

Theme: Immigration — What Do Our Faith Traditions Teach Us About Welcoming the Stranger?

Our June conversation will explore how various faith traditions understand immigration, hospitality, belonging, and the experience of the stranger.

Special guest Kim Verriere, Retreat House Covenant Partner, Spiritual Director, and active member of CLEAR (Clergy League for Emergency Action and Response), will help guide our discussion.

There is no cost to participate. Whether you come with deep experience in a faith tradition or simply a desire to learn, you are warmly invited to join the conversation.
