What within you is waiting to bloom?
Pinks, purples, rich creams, yellows, red, too many hues to count. Spring colors have arrived! Yet, there are still trees, plants and flowers that have not bloomed. This magnolia tree in my front yard is on the cusp. It has enough shade, enough sun and water - it just isn’t ready. The time has not come.
What in your life are you watching, hoping and waiting to bloom? Maybe an idea, a friendship, relationship, dream, vision. Do you have to tend to it or are you simply waiting? How does this anticipation feel? Do you trust it will happen? Is there beaty in the waiting? If so, what are those gifts? Is the waiting annoying or painful? What does that feel like and look like?
May we have eyes, ears, and hearts to see and imagine. Amen!
